a STAR’S Journey
Updated: Apr 30, 2020

I am forever grateful to the community who make the Star Center a joy. I’m thankful to our Board of Directors, volunteers onstage and behind the scenes, our supporters and you the audience. Most importantly, I thank God, for the inspiration, in giving this little girl from Miami by way of Detroit a spirit of tenacity and perseverance. It's easy to jump on someone else's train, but when you lay your own tracks, you create a path for others to travel and continue moving the vision forward.
Star Center is moving into its 20th season with a fantastic crew and we are not done yet! Our mission is to continue providing a platform where youth and families can continue to learn, grow and enjoy the beauty of the arts. We hope to see you SPARKLE and SHINE with us!
