HAPPENING NOW AT STAR CENTER THEATRE

Its not too late to give!

Star Center Youth Theatre celebrates its 25th anniversary. For a quarter of a century, we have been dedicated to enriching lives through the transformative power of theater and the arts. Now, as we look to the future, we are excited to share our vision for expanding our impact even further through our Arts in Education program.

As we strive to expand our reach and serve more students in our community, we are faced with the challenge of providing the necessary equipment and resources to support our arts outreach projects. From lighting and sound equipment to costumes and props, these resources are essential for bringing our students' creative visions to life and ensuring that they have the tools they need to make a meaningful impact through their artistic expression.

That's where you come in! By supporting our Amazing Give campaign, you can help us provide the equipment and resources needed to enhance our Arts program and empower even more students to make a difference through the power of theatre. Your generous contribution will enable us to reach more young people, engage with more communities, and create more opportunities for growth, learning, and social change through the arts. NO amount is too small.

With your support, we can continue to build on our legacy of impacting lives through theatre and the arts for another 25 years and beyond. Together, we can empower the next generation of creative thinkers, change-makers, and leaders to make a positive difference in the world.

Thank you for your continued support and belief in the POWER OF THE ARTS to change lives.

But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. "A Raisin In The Sun" is a classic American drama written by Lorraine Hansberry. Set in the 1950s, the play explores the dreams, struggles, and aspirations of the Younger family, an African-American family living in a cramped apartment on the south side of Chicago. When the family receives a life insurance check following the death of the father, they face critical decisions about how to spend the money, revealing the complexities of race, class, and family dynamics in post-war America. This poignant and powerful story delves into themes of identity, racism, generational conflicts, and the pursuit of the American Dream.
