Spring Break Camp: Shakespeare!
March 16th-20th, 8am-5pm
Ages 8-18.
Break into Shakespeare with Star Center Theatre's Spring Break Intensive! We will familiarize students with language, costuming, themes, set design, improv games and have a ton of fun all along the way!
Our goal is to empower students with Shakespeare so it is no longer foreign or overbearing. Students will leave the camp with a monologue that they can take to competitions or use in future auditions
Students will perform monologues and scenes on the final Friday, and we invite and encourage friends and family to cheer your child on!

In the kingdom of Auradon, all the classic Disney heroes now live in peace - while their villains have been banished to the Isle of the Lost, a dark and isolated place. When Ben, the kind-hearted son of Belle and the Beast, becomes king, he decides to give the kids of the island a chance at a better life. He invites four Villain Kids (VK’s) - Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos to attend Auradon Prep.
Are the VK’s destined to follow in their parents’ footsteps - or will they choose their own path?
Filled with catchy songs, exciting dance numbers, and a heartfelt message about identity, friendship, and forgiveness, Descendants: The Musical is a dazzling journey that proves that being good doesn’t have to mean being perfect - and that everyone deserves a chance to choose their own story.

And the WINNER of “BEST OF THE FEST”, BEST PRODUCTION 2024 of the Atlanta Black Theatre Festival is….. Star Center Theatre - ONCE ON THIS ISLAND JR. CONGRATULATIONS to the cast, crew and all the supporters working behind the scenes. Not only did they give a magnificent performance, but the producers, staff reported on how the youth were so professional on and off stage. Thank you.
